![]() ![]() In Hellpoint, that's not the case, and it's actually one of the main reasons (if not the only reason) why the dev team released a QoL update where they added the ability to re-spec or re-class your build. In the Dark Souls series, though it may seem impossible at first, you can beat every boss with any type of build. If you didn't build your character around that spec, then have fun starting a new game because you aren't beating them otherwise. You will find that, towards the end of the game, the last few bosses are heavily built around one type of spec. The game, in my opinion, however, has a fatal flaw: forcing a re-spec or a re-classing of your build. The game play is absolutely souls like in that if you learn the enemy and time your moves accordingly, there's no enemy you can't beat, but if you go in guns blazing without a strategy, you will get obliterated over and over. The game flows well and has an incredible atmosphere along with some very nice graphics. ![]() I bought this game because two of my favorite genres are souls like and anything futuristic, so Hellpoint seemed like the perfect marriage of those two types. ![]()
